ABOUT
Kenilworth Tea Estate named is after the English castle in Warwickshire, England and is located in the western hills of Sri Lanka, at an elevation of 4,000 feet. It is considered by many to produce some of the finest teas in the world. Teas grown on this tea estate have consistently won awards for being the finest Orange Pekoe Teas in the world and consistently produce bright full-bodied liquors.
Ceylon teas from the Kenilworth Estate enjoy the seasonal monsoons which encourage growth in the districts of Dimbula, Uva and Kandy. Selected tender leaves picked after the first monsoon and processed during cooler weather, result in a creamy character unique to this estate.
The Kenilworth Orange Pekoe is a very likable, elegant, breakfast, or afternoon tea, that compliments the palette without the addition of milk or sugar.
The coppery infusion is incredibly smooth, citrusy, floral, and fresh, with nuances of caramel from one of Sri Lanka’s highly prized Kandy gardens.
